The NDIS Code of Conduct

Sam-Rena’s Home Care Services is dedicated to upholding the NDIS Code of Conduct and under obligation to do so. We must always have this code of conduct in the forefront of our daily actions and disciplines.

The following actions must be taken by employees and providers delivering NDIS supports and services in accordance with the NDIS Code of Conduct:

  • Respect each person’s right to speech, self-determination, and decision-making while abiding by all relevant laws and conventions.
  • People with disabilities should be allowed their privacy.
  • With care and competence, provide services and support in a safe and effective manner.
  • Act with honesty, integrity, and openness.
  • Take prompt action to voice and address concerns regarding issues that could affect the standards of safety regarding those with disabilities.
  • Take all necessary precautions to stop and respond to abuse, exploitation, and violence directed against people with disabilities.
  • Take all necessary action to stop sexual misbehaviour and address it.
